Monkeypox 101: Beyond Shots In Arms
On Thursday, August 4th, 2022, Howard Brown Health and the Chicago Black Gay Men’s Caucus partnered to host Monkeypox 101: Beyond Shot in Arms. The purpose of this town hall style event was to educate influencers within Chicago’s LBGTQ+ community about the emerging monkeypox pandemic, dispel myths and rumors, offer vaccinations, and encourage these stakeholders to share the information and resources with their peers.
