Mental Health Awareness Month

Today, May 31st, is the last official day of Mental Health Awareness Month. However, the partner organizations of the MBS Health and Wellness Circle encourage you to make tending to your mental health and wellbeing an everyday practice. That can look like many different things to many different people – from being engaged in therapy to practicing meditation so that you center yourself before starting your day to dropping everything for a brief walk when you’re overwhelmed with the stressors of day-to-day life. Regardless of how regular mental health and wellness upkeep looks for you, we implore you to be CONSISTENT and UNAPOLOGETIC. A healthy mind is the key to a healthy life and YOU are in the drivers seat!

If you or someone you know is in need of a resources for maintaining mental health and wellness, please reach out to us at info@chiwellnesscircle.org. And stay tuned for the latest edition of ChiWellness for an exclusive feature story on mental health guru John Sykes, MSW, LCSW. For a sneap peak and introduction to John, check out this video!
